La poire Précoce de Trevoux
Ou madame Treyve, c'est une variété ancienne mise au point par un arboriculteur français en 1862 à Trévoux dans le 01 l'Ain.
Elle est résistante à la tavelure, avec une production abondante et régulière, floraison mi avril pour une bonne pollinisation croiser avec un autre poirier (la William étant un pollinisateur assez universel pour toutes les poires).

Très Précoce entre le 20 et 30 juillet, peut se cueillir à mûre à point(ce qui n est souvent pas le cas des autres poires que l'on doit ramasser avant maturité totale sous peine d'avoir des poires blettes)
La récolte s étale sur une dizaine de jours.
Côté greffage : une bonne affinité avec le cognassier BA29 qui de plus bonifie la qualité fruitière (poires plus fondantes moins grumeleuses
).
Côté cuisine : comme on peut la cueillir à point, l'idéal est de la manger fraîche, elle se marie très bien avec un bleu de Bresse et un bon pain aux noix.
